碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 國際企業系碩士在職專班 === 103 === Structural steel products have been widely utilized in major public construction and building projects in Taiwan such as long span arenas, buildings for power stations and steel mills, skyscraper and various kinds of bridges etc. However, structural steel market is greatly impacted by politic and economic reasons which caused the supply exceeding the demand and steel fabricators are in keen competition together with very low amount, even in the red, in order to get the contract. The main issue currently for structural steel fabricator is to think “How to structure the management strategies and maintain the sustained competitive advantages”. The study of this thesis uses collecting documents to analyze the development of structural steel industries in Taiwan and the key factors to the sustained competitive advantages, and finally takes an example of China Steel Structure Company (CSSC) – a leader in the field of structural steel fabrication in Taiwan for case studying.
