Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 製造與管理外國學生碩士專班 === 102 === Vietnam, as a developing country whose land is affluent in natural resources, has been well known for its tourism in the world. In recent decades, as the world economy and technology keep on progressing, people are getting rich and able to go overseas for tourism, business, adventure, etc. The tourism boost in Vietnam has been continuously growing, which is also the country's important earner of foreign currency. In Vietnam, many tourist attractions, for instance Ba Ria-Vung Tau one of the famous destinations for visitors in Vietnam in this study, have their unique features. However, past research has been focused more on general country-wide tourism or specific tourism industry such as economy, sport, or relax, as well as travelling security and information quality of tourism. The specific destination spot research such as tourism in a place like a province with famous landscape, etc. is scarce. Therefore, this study aims to explore the determinant factors of destination facilities, destination accessibility and destination attraction that are likely to affect tourist satisfaction. To attract more tourists, the service quality of tourism that may influence customer satisfaction becomes a major concern for the country, which ardently develops tourism industry. Hence, the SERVQUAL model of Parasuraman et al. (1988) is introduced to measure service quality. Questionnaires are made with a total of the 230 questionnaires returned from respondents, in which 30 questionnaires were deemed inappropriately, indicating 80% successful response rate. The results reveal that the effects of all determinant factors of destination facilities, destination accessibility and destination attraction are positively significant on tourist satisfaction. This may offer some insight into tourism destination in particular.
