In order to solve the problems, the family members would arrange the long-term care institutions for the elderly. The thesis is based on Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB) which examines the three elements- attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control influenced the behavioral intention to realize the factors of the behavioral intention and establish the theoretical model for consumers while they arrange the long-term care institutions for the elderly. We indicated that there were three elements- attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control influenced the behavioral intention while consumers arrange the long-term care for the elderly. Among the three factors, the greatest impact in the construct of behavioral intention was perceived behavioral control; the following was subjective norm, and attitude was the mildest. In the dimension of attitude, the influence of personal interest was greater than that of social interest. Also, in the dimension of subjective norm, the effect of primary group was greater than that of subgroup. Meanwhile, in the dimension of perceived behavioral control, the impact of facilitating condition was greater than that of self-efficacy. We offered some marketing strategies for the long-term care providers and the relevant researches: First of all, in terms of the attitude, to get the trust from the consumers, the enterprise can install the remote monitoring system and hold the regular get-together meeting. Secondly, in terms of the subjective norm, making the family members have the chance to visit the organizations with their friends or colleges who are also in need. Moreover, posting an ad in the hospital to establish the reputations. Third, in terms of the perceived behavioral control, based on holistic health care, the organizations have to raise the quality of medical care. Therefore, the elderly can live respectively in a space of independent living and accessible environment. Furthermore, regular on-the-job trainings for the nurses to improve the knowledge on long-term care, rehabilitation, and first aid are also needed. Above all, we expected that there will be a better development in the long-term care business, and also to make a better life quality for the elderly in the rest of their lives. 林錦郎 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 111 zh-TW
