Different factors related to students in this program are also analyzed to evaluate their influence on students’ learning satisfaction. The study is composed of a self-edited questionnaire focusing on learning satisfaction of students in this program in Kaohsiung. 7216 students joining the program in 2013 in Kaohsiung were the subjects. Applying “finite population” formula, 930 of them were considered to be qualified to fill in the questionnaire. Through random sampling, 1051 copies of the questionnaire were issued, and 880 copies were collected. Among them, 292 copies were invalid. Therefore, the number of the valid ones is 588. In this study, all the data were processed and analyzed by SPSS 12.0. The statistical methods include: descriptive statistics, stratified factor analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Independent Sample Two-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s post-hoc method, and biserial correlation analysis. According to the statistical analysis, the results were summarized as follows: 1. Students in in Junior High School Vocational Technical Education Program in Kaohsiung held a positive attitude in overall courses. Among the four aspects, students felt the most satisfied with learning and counseling effects and felt the least satisfied with curriculum and material design. 2. Students with different sexes, parental educational levels, career group classification, and academic grades showed no significant differences in their learning satisfaction degree in the courses. 3. Students with different career choices showed significant differences only in the aspect of learning and counseling effects. Students in Practical Curriculum had greater satisfaction than students who planned to attend senior high schools. 4. Class grouping modes as well as academic performances showed no obvious interrelation in students’ learning satisfaction degree in the curriculum. When it comes to class grouping modes, students in planned grouping based on Technical Education Program showed higher satisfaction degree in overall learning than students in mixed grouping. Furthermore, in planned grouping, students with better academic performances showed higher satisfaction degree in learning while in mixed grouping, students with poorer academic performances showed higher satisfaction degree. 5. The interrelationship between gender and class grouping modes was significant. Female students in planned grouping showed greater satisfaction in the curriculum than those in mixed grouping. 6. In Junior High School Vocational Technical Education Program, class grouping modes and students’ learning satisfaction degree showed notable positive correlation. Based on the findings, this study proposes the following suggestions. First, adjust the schedule of the vocational technical program. Second, assist students when they are trying to attain vocational licenses. Third, improve education pathways for students with excellent technical skills. Fourth, seek help and support from the authorities concerned and enterprises. By doing so, the goal of a seamless transition of personnel training will be reached. After graduation, students in this program will become professional and will be assured to get a job.
