Of the above, the appreciation of and learning from unique, irreplaceable attraction historic monuments is the most popular among foreign tourists. This has made trips to historic monuments a prime choice for modern leisure travelers. This research aims at the effects of travel motivation and experience on travel satisfaction and revisit intention. Through literature review and questionnaire research, and using historic monument tourists in Tainan as targets, 500 convenience-sampling questionnaires were distributed. 405 valid responses were registered and SPSS version 22.0 was used as the main data analysis tool. After reliability and validity testing, descriptive statistical analysis, one-way ANOVA, analysis of correlation, and regression analysis to verify our hypothesis. The results show that travel motivation is significant to satisfaction; travel experience is significant to satisfaction; and travel satisfaction is significant to revisit intention.
