Taiwan is willing to take the collective responsibility of protecting the earth. In the meanwhile, Taiwan declared the prohibition of the use of CFCs in propellants for aerosol cosmetic sprays. Many experts research and develop on water mist systems recently. Certainly, it makes the water plays an important role of cooling the fire source on firefighting The efficiency of parameters in extinguishing performance under automatic water sprinkler system was investigated in this paper. A simulating space was established. The time was set in 100 seconds. The fire simulation was calculated by FDS software under different water flow rate (3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 L/min) and water particle (200, 600, 1000 and 2000 μm) saturations. Demonstrably, the results of FDS 6.0 presented that (1).The greater the water flow, the shorter extinguishing time. (2).The bigger the water particle, the extinguishing performance should be better, respectively.
