Description
Summary:碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 企業管理系碩士班 === 103 === This case study will explore the relationship between employee values and well-being in the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry. This case study compared an organization’s business model and management system in different regions (Taiwan and China) to understand if employees work values and happiness will yield the same results. This research is based on the survey from employees of the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry. We issued 180 questionnaires total and 180 were returned which means we had a 100% participation rate. Of the 180 total questionnaires 168 were valid which is a 93.3% effective rate. All questionnaires used (Statistical Package for the Social Science) SPSS 18.0 for analysis which included structure, reliability, descriptive statistics, diversity, correlation and regression analysis. The results showed the work values have positively affected employee happiness in different regional factories. The higher expectation of work values will have more happiness of the life. Some factors such as gender, age, marital status, education, year of service, and department at work will also slightly affect the result on both of work value and happiness. This study helps an organization when they operate management systems in different regions, however additional consideration needs to be made for political, economic, and socio-culture in order to make an appropriate adjustment to different regions. Once employees have a common understanding with their organization, their work value and happiness will increase their productivity and ultimately benefit the organization in the long run.
