碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 創意產品設計系碩士班 === 103 === The District in National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts has a heavy responsibility in heritage, inspiration of children picture book and provids training to people in deep and humanities, arts, and cultural values. To suggest the choice principle of picture books, this study explored the preference of the age between 7-12 children about the styles and elements of awarded picture books, as references of children picture books, area for National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts' librarian. This may save the time of book purchase, Promote the knowing and develop the aesthetic qualities of picture books as to children. Based on the findings, the choice principle of picture books recommends as follow: (1) For aged 7-12 children, simple lines, harmonious and bright colored, equilibrium structured, song type, bold text type, chopin script like, sky blue, lyons blue, hazel, deepink, yellow as the style of cover. (2) For aged 7-12 children, delicate, art nouveau lines, sedate, brighten colored as the style of inside pages.
