Firstly, the study examines the influence of elementary school teachers’ perception of low fertility rate on education and work pressure, and then the differences in the perception of low fertility rate and work pressure between elementary school teachers in Changhua County with different background variables are examined. Lastly, the relationship between the two is also studied. The study adopts the questionnaire survey method, where elementary school teachers in Changhua County are the main research subjects. Stratified random sampling technique is employed and data gathered is analyzed with descriptive statistics, ANOVA and Pearson’s r to obtain the following conclusions: 1. The most significant factor influencing elementary school teachers’ perception of low fertility rate is “change in parenting method”. 2. The most significant factor influencing elementary school teachers’ perception of work pressure is “workload”. 3. There is partially significant distinction on the perception of influence of the low fertility rate for elementary school teachers in Changhua County according to different backgrounds. 4. There is partially significant distinction on the perception of Teachers’ work pressure for elementary school teachers in Changhua County according to different backgrounds. 5. There is a moderate positive relationship between the perception of low fertility rate and work pressure of elementary school teachers in Changhua County, indicating that the lower the perception of low fertility rate is the higher the work pressure will be for the teachers.
