A questionnaire survey of teachers in elementary schools of Nantou county is conducted. Totally we recover 347 valid questionnaires. Besides the personal background variables, the two scales of green consumption attitude and low-carbon life practice, are designed to do researches. The four factors of environmental protection practice, resource saving practice, energy saving practice, and green life practice are extracted from the scale of low-carbon life practice via the factor analysis, the performance of environmental protection practice is the best. Studies have shown that Nantou County Primary teachers between consumer attitudes and low-carbon green life practice two scales were positive correlated, and there are significant difference between each factor of the green consumer attitudes and low-carbon life practice. Background variables in which the population of men and women has significant difference in the low-carbon life practice, and women are better than men. Age, years of service, more than twice a week vegetarian, participated in environmental related training course, experience of participating in environmental volunteer activities were both significant better than other background variables in the consumer attitudes and low-carbon green life practice scales. The study also found the level of young teacher which between 20 to 29 year-old to participate in environmental protection activities is in a gradually increasing trend. The teachers in elementary schools take the responsibilities of the education. The action of low-carbon and life practice shows positive influence and explanation on students. In the future, we hope the action can change and influence the whole family and the society. At the same time, we also put more concerns on the practice of the environmental education of students from lower social status. That will help the global people practice the low-carbon life.
