A Study on Junior High School Teachers’ Selecting Factors and Using Satisfaction of Electronic Textbooks ― Take Tainan City for Example

碩士 === 康寧大學 === 數位應用研究所 === 103 === In recently years, the government has created a digital environment of every class having computers and a projector. Electronic textbooks not only meet the government’s plan to promote the related electronic learning but also provide a ready framework to allow teachers to make full use of digital technology in teaching. In the field of teaching, the topics of “how do teachers choose suitable electronic textbooks?” and “do teachers feel satisfied after using them?” are worth exploring. Based on the above factors, the study aims to explore the motivation and satisfaction of using electronic textbooks. The study utilizes research literature review and questionnaire survey as the main research methods to analyze the data. And the findings are: (1) in terms of selecting factors, “I can use Internet to search the related data in need” of teachers’ characteristics and qualities category is the most significant; (2) as for teachers’ using satisfaction, “I think the teaching materials such as animations and videos are suitable in electronic textbooks” is the most significant; (3) the selecting factors and using satisfaction are highly positively correlated, which indicates that the more the teachers agrees with the selecting factors, the higher the users satisfactions. Furthermore, the variance of selecting factors on using satisfaction is more than 40%, revealing key influence.
