Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 國際企業學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === In electronic component supplying chain, the agents not only demanded with the ability to provide product’s selling service but also require capabilities to handle logistic, cash flow and information flow. Due to the property of agents usually rely on the authorization from own brand vendor, therefore, the case study methods is implemented for this research. Through in-depth interview from A and B two electronic component agents expecting to investigate how the firm specific investment and cooperative relationship development between agents with their own band vendors effect to operating performance. Review of research finding as below: 1.In the relationship of agency, usually, the own brand vendors have stronger bargaining power; whereas the agents often doing single way specific investment. 2.Except formal contract mechanisms, the agents tend to lower the risk of single way specific-investment with own brand vendors by developing different levels closeness of informal relationship with own brand vendors. 3.The agents create their own added-values by expanding different brand’s product lines in order to reduce over-reliance of one single brand; and also to increase the bargaining power with upstream and downstream companies.
