Research contents are included the status and the model of on-job pursuing high degree stress and teaching effectiveness for kindergarten teachers in New Taipei City. This study adopted survey method and applied stratified random sampling drawn samples of kindergarten teachers in New Taipei city. There were 490 returned samples out of 600 questionnaires, and effect samples were 467. Analyses were conduced by descriptive, 1-Way MANOVA, and structural equation modeling (SEM). Relative results are summarized as follows: (1) the status of teaching effectiveness for kindergarten teachers in New Taipei city were good; (2) there were significantly differences among teachers with different background in on-job pursuing higher degree stress and teaching effectiveness ; (3) the model showed that on-job pursuing higher degree stress had no influence on teaching effectiveness. This is a first model about on-job pursuing higher degree stress and teaching effectiveness for kindergarten teachers in New Taipei City.
