The thesis uses secondary data analysis and survey research, nvestigation 80 residents Xizhi District, New Taipei City, evaluate “home safety inspector” Defence Measures to detect whether the user has reduced by fear of victimization, improve living security of results.
The study found, according to official statistics, New Taipei City residential burglary data marked decline 60%. And in the survey found that people in the whole has to be detected "burglary prevention”、”police community relations”、”relations of community neighbors”、”satisfactions of social security”.
According to the study findings, the present study suggests that short-term policy should promote sustained “home safety inspector” projects, encourage people enthusiastic community patrol team and continue to promote mutual help and policies; the long-term should enhance the ability to timely detection of cases of theft, aggravated sentencing court and reward Residential Theft consulting projects of outstanding police officers.
