Based on the revision of ‘big five inventory’ ‘career decision-making styles scale’, ‘career decision making self-efficacy scale’ (CDMSE), the questionnaire has been developed for measuring the third year students in Changhua County with the stratified sampling. Totally, there were 800 students in 13 junior high schools involved in this research (96.15%). The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product - moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: (1) The personality traits of junior school students varied significantly in terms of social-economic status, but not the gender, graduation career decision. (2) The career decision-making styles of junior school students varied significantly in terms of gender, graduation career decision, but not the social-economic status. (3) The career decision-making self-efficacy of junior school students varied significantly in terms of gender, graduation career decision, social-economic status. (4) The personality traits and the career decision-making styles of junior high school students are positively correlated. (5) The personality traits and the career decision-making self-efficacy of junior high school students are positively correlated. (6) The career decision-making styles and the career decision-making self-efficacy of junior high school students are positively correlated. (7) The predictabilities of personality traits and career decision-making styles on career decision-making self-efficacy were significant. Based on the results, suggestions for career counsellor and future researches were discussed and proposed.
