Therefore, leadership has been growing concern of both researchers and organizations. Transformational leadership has effects on various work-related outcomes and behaviors at different levels. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the effect of the transformational leadership on followers. Base on the literature review, a research framework was constructed. The thesis has explored the influence of transformational leadership on employee’s contextual job performance, well-being, and turnover intention. Through the implementation of a survey at a public company operating in the field of air transport, the study has received 121 responses of employees in the company. By using the method of quantitative research, the thesis has continued to prove the hypothesis that transformational leadership is positively related to organization citizenship behavior, well being, and job satisfaction and negatively related to turnover intention.
