The Relationship between Work Stress,Leisure Perceived Freedom and Leisure Benefit in The Field Fire-Fighting Personnel─Case of Hsinchu and Miaoli Areas

碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 服務事業管理研究所碩士班 === 103 === The research motive of this study is because presently, there are no domestic researches regarding the relationship among work stress, perceived freedom in leisure and leisure benefit for fire-fighting personnel, therefore, it is hoped that this study can be used to understand their contexts so that the result can be used to help the fire-fighting personnel to understand their own source of work stress and how to release such stress. Meanwhile, questionnaire issuance is performed for field fire-fighting personnel in Hsinchu County, Hsinchu City and Miaoli County, a total of 300 survey questionnaires are issued, there are 290 copies returned, in other words, the effective return rate is 97%, with deduction of 5 copies of ineffective survey questionnaires, the total effective survey questionnaires are 285 copies. Moreover, for the returned questionnaire data of this study, Chinese version of SPSS 19.0 statistical package software is used to perform quantitative data analysis. The research results are as follows: For fire-fighting personnel of different background variables, their work stresses will be affected by “different service years”, “different service counties and cities”, “performing leisure activities with different targets”; moreover, fire-fighting personnel of different background variables will be affected, in the perceived freedom in leisure, by “different marital statuses”, “performing leisure activities with different targets”. In addition, from the regression analysis method, it can be seen that both work stress and perceived freedom in leisure show significant level on the leisure benefit, among them, perceived freedom in leisure has the most important influence on the leisure benefit. The research result shows that the higher the level of perceived freedom in leisure for field fire-fighting personnel, the higher the leisure benefits that can be obtained.
