Moreover, some factors such as the low birth rate will definitely challenge the stability of armed forces and threaten the national security. It’s not easy to train qualified soldiers and officers with professional leadership, if we make the soldiers retain the willingness to serve in the army, it is very important to stablize and develop the national military organization .The research will provide suggestions according to the data findings.The suggestions would improve the willingness of soldiers and officers to serve in the army and prolong their commitment time. As a result, retaining the armed forces could save the training cost and enhance the fighting force to strengthen the national security. The research conducted a questionnaire study of mandatory and voluntary soldiers and officers in the grassroots army units. A total of 318 valid sample out of 500 questionnaires was obtained, 109 invalid sample was discarded. This study focused on whether soldiers' willingness to stay in the military is influenced by such factors as work characteristics, leadership and feedback, salary and welfare, career planning and other influential factors such as job satisfaction, and personal background .Therefore, the data was further analyzed by factor analysis, regression analysis,t-test, analysis of variance…etc. and the following findings were concluded. 1.Personal information such as gender,age and education had a significant correlation with the willingness to stay in the army. 2.The draft type, the official rank, and the length of service had a significant correlation with the willingness to stay in the army. 3.Work characteristics,leadership and feedback,salary and welfare , career planning and other influential factors had a significant correlation with job satisfaction. 4.Salary and welfare and other influential factors had a significant correlation with willingness to stay in the army. 5. Work satisfaction had a positive correlation with the willingness to stay in the army. The research concludes the following suggestions: 1.Esablish concrete work duty and responsibility mechanism. 2.Improve the punishment mechanism of exsiting system and define the responsibility. 3.Optimize the leadership of organization and pay attention to empowerment and responsibility. 4.Raise the salary and welfare and improve the facilities in the military. 5.Balance the counseling profession and create a sound learning environment
