Description
Summary:碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計系碩士班 === 103 === In the present age of digitalization, art can be expressed in various forms. By various types of interactive devices and technological systems, observers no longer appreciate art in a passive way but gradually in an active way. Currently, the main feature of most smart devices is that they are easy to use. The introduction of the concept of human–machine interface allows observers to interactively create art using various interactive devices without requiring professional training. Therefore, artists can directly share their creations with observers. Through the interaction, observers can also participate in the creation of the art, becoming part of it to bring more improvement and experience to the creation. The concept from this study comes from Chinese ink wash painting. Because ink wash paintings can demonstrate the essence of eastern art and the philosophic thoughts of the artist, it can bring observers some kind of artistic mood. However, most paintings spoil as years pass by or by damage from moisture; therefore, the painting do not remain appealing over the years. Through a combination of the current 3D animation technology and new interactive technologies, the original painting can be replicated, allowing observers to access the actual painting and to have a deeper understanding of the ideas that the artist was trying to convey. When using the 3D technology, attention should be given to preserve the brush strokes and smudge effects of the original painting and not to make it overly realistic. This is the connotation that this creative study desires to express. Furthermore, by combining interactive technologies, diversification can be introduced to ink wash painting along with more innovative and creative developments.
