Such disruptive events may destroy some part of the network and affect the network performance for a long time. Therefore, building a fault-tolerant mesh network is critical. In this thesis, based on the technique of Software Defined Networking (SDN), we devise a fault-tolerant routing algorithm to solve the problem of faulty regions of mesh networks through the management of flow tables. We also employ the Mininet emulator and Ryu controllers to construct an OpenFlow framework for performing simulation experiments.
