Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 冷凍空調系 === 103 === This study designed a packed bed solid desiccant heat exchanger to investigate the sorption ability of the solid silica gel desiccant. The packed bed heat exchanger is composed of serpentine copper tubes or thermo-electrical plate heaters on which copper plates coated with solid desiccant cover. In this study, air with constant temperature of 30℃and different humidity of 60%RH、70%RH and 80%RH were introduced into the experiment chamber respectively. During the absorption process, 25℃ cold water was introduced into the serpentine tubes in order to absorb the absorption heat of the desiccant. During the desorption process, 50℃ hot water was introduced into the serpentine tubes or thermo-electrical heaters were applied in order to enhance the desorption ability of the desiccant. In this study, the regenerative effects on the sorption and desorption ability and performance coefficiency of the systems under different operational conditions were investigated. It is found that, by using the thermo-electrical heating method, the sorption and desorption ability and performance coefficiency are less than those by introducing hot water. However for the thermo-electrical heating method, the heating facility can be more compact.
