Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工業與資訊管理學系 === 103 === Companies not only need to make a profit in a highly competitive environment but also need to provide customers high quality products. Therefore, product quality is important. In order to produce high quality products, companies must adopt a maintenance and inspection policy for the production equipment. One of the possible objectives is to establish an optimal maintenance and inspection policy that achieves minimum cost. This study adopts the touch panel industry as the subject, and uses system simulation to find the optimal maintenance and inspection policy with minimum cost. From the perspective of a company, equipment is an important asset. When the equipment fails or is under maintenance, idle cost is incurred. On the other hand, defective products could be passed to customers, incurring external cost, if inspection or maintenance is done less frequently. Therefore, this study considers the maintenance and inspection factors simultaneously that balance idle cost and external cost.
