Since the booming of carrier industry, it is necessary to followers at market to develop a helpful network structure to increase the profit. The research provide the follower a new way of entering the market through outsourcing the goods to leader’s hub. Based on this network design, the leader will be responsible for the preload sort and deliver goods to recipient. This operations network can both reduce the fixed cost of facilities and expand the scope of service. The research construct a mathematical model and make a computational study in Taiwan. To maximize the follower’s profit, we solve the problem by Lingo software and analyses the result to observe the economic benefits of this network. We find that this auxiliary hub-and-spoke network design can reduce the cost effectively. As the number of demand increasing, a follower will build dropoffs or centers at first with small volume due to the benefits of economy of scope.
