Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 材料科學及工程學系 === 103 === This research is based on the past research of semi-metallic friction material, we use a vol% of copper fiber as reinforcement, b vol% of copper powder, c vol% of phenolic resin, and d vol% of graphite powder as our material. And change its carbonization temperature to investigate the influence to the properties of tribological and mechanical. T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 are chosen as the carbonization temperatures. The results shows that T2, T3, T4 as the carbonization temperature, the specimens have properties like lesser noise made while braking. And the coefficient of friction is increased as the carbonization temperature rises. While carbonization temperature exceeds T4, wear loss become unstable for the reason tribo-oxidation after braking. Otherwise, the addition of mica powder which plays the role of lubricant. The results reveal that the surface lubrication of graphite powder is better than mica powder. In conclusion, specimen T3X1Y1 has proper coefficient of friction, relatively low wear loss, no noise made while braking, good mechanical properties. So in this research, T3X1Y1 is a better choice among all specimens.
