Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系 === 103 === The aim of this research is to establish a low emission micro gas turbine generator system. In this research, the smaller turbo charger, TD-04, is combined with the self-design combustion chamber as a gas generator. The larger turbo charger, TD-08, which combined with the high speed generator is placed behind the gas generator as a power turbine to slow down the rotating speed. The exhaust gas from the power turbine is used to heat the methanol reformer. The methanol, a liquid fuel, can be reformed easily with resultant hydrogen rich syngas and few byproducts. The hydrogen rich syngas is fed back to the combustion chamber of the gas generator to improve the exhaust gas composition.
In this research, the low emission micro gas turbine generator system is built successfully. The maximum rotating speed of generator can be reached 40,000 rpm with 1,290 Watt electricity output. With the hydrogen rich syngas injected into combustion chamber of gas generator with 150,000 rpm, the HC emission is 4 ppm (with 50 % reduction), while CO emission is down to 0 %. The NOx emission holds on about 60 ppm. The emission of the system conforms to the air pollution laws of gas generator system.
