Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 國際體育事務研究所 === 103 === The purpose of this study was to examine the sports participation and constrains factor perceived by international student in Taiwan. The participations were 437 international students in Taiwan. Descriptive statistic, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Scheffe’s method are applied for statistic and analysis leading to the following conclusions: 1. In participation in recreational sports, 50% of respondents reach more than three times a week, and most of than take 31 minutes to 60 minutes each time. The recreational sports that the International Students engaged themselves in most are “take a walk”, “jogging”, and “soccer”. 2. Among constrain factors of sport of the International Students in Taiwan, the structure factor is the key constrain factor, among weather influence the most. 3. To test for differences among the background variables and sport participation and constrains, only “country” and “duration of stay in Taiwan” are significant to sport constrains. Other variables were all insignificant difference to sport participation and constrain factors. The research finds that the most important sport constrain factor is the weather, also, it’s the better if improve the space for reduce the sport constrain effectively.
