Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育研究所 === 103 === The purpose of the study was to understand the situation about equal rights for gender that female physical education teachers in general and vocational high school faced when they attended teacher audition and the way they responded to highly competitive teacher audition. The study listened to the voices of female physical education teachers and further analyzed the situation about equal rights for gender in physical education teacher audition. The study adopted qualitative in-depth interview method to do the research and chose three regular teachers and three substitute teachers as the subjects by purposive sampling. Six subjects were physically female in-service teachers with less than six years of teaching experience, and they had attended at least ten times of teacher audition. The following were the ones that the study discovered. 1. Female physical education teachers had high self-identity in profession and high insistency in physical education. 2. The attitudes that audition schools and the outside world held for gender issue to female physical education teachers were different. 3. The teacher audition for physical education was a different competition in gender issue for female physical education teachers. 4. Female physical education teachers always held positive, active, and hard-working attitude to face predicament. 5. Female physical education teachers expected the execution of teacher audition could be changed and moved forward to gender equality. The discovery in the study could be the reference for teacher audition schools in the future, and it could be moved forward to the development of equal rights for gender on the audition for female physical education teachers.
