Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 工學院聲音與音樂創意科技碩士學位學程 === 103 === The digital musical instrument of touchless magnetic-feedback is based on Linux system and ADC evaluation board with Firmata protocol. This essay analyzes the user experience about digital musical instrument. The main framework is through Raspberry Pi and Arduino MEGA. In that, Raspberry Pi is running Pure Data as audio processing core and Arduino is reading analog sensors data to send Pure Data through Firmata protocol. In the section of control interface, it was designed by Hall-Effect sensor and annular magnetic. The wearable magnetic ring from which to get feedback allows the operation of linear performance. Hardware control and audio software core were integrated in the instrument. It is a unique new interface even without using computer (PC or Laptop).
