Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 電信工程研究所 === 103 === In this thesis, the system performances of a fractional frequency reusing (FFR) scheme for Device-to-Device (D2D) communication in uplink underlaying cellular networks is studied. Since D2D user equipments (DUEs) reuse the frequency band of cellular user equipments (CUEs), the inter-cell interference (ICI) is an important issue to be investigated. To mitigate the interference from CUEs in adjacent regions or cells, the frequency reusing regions for DUEs is studied in order to achieve the minimum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) requirement. The power control scheme for LTE-A uplink is also introduced to keep a balance between transmission power and coverage as well as the interference to other users using the same resources. Simulation results show that by applying the proposed frequency reusing region for DUEs, not only the average SINR and throughput is improved but also power wastage is reduced.
