Description
Summary:博士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 103 === With the great advances in technology, the software industries have made a great progress, and the way to send data of digital media is also in a constant innovation. The digital technology reduces the difficulty of copying data. Everyone can copy digital data easily, and the replica is the same the original. So when the digital media content is copied and sold by unscrupulous operators, it will cause huge losses to the video industry. How to add the protective mechanism in the Blu-ray disc (BD) becomes another issue which we concerned about. However, the cost of using a commercially available Digital rights management (DRM) system is relatives high to the production budget of small and medium enterprises and small and home offices. In this paper, we propose an efficient and simple content duplication protection scheme. Our system provides a low-cost and high compatible content protection function that users can protect the content without any extra mechanisms and play the protected BDs in the player without decryption. We conduct an experiment to test on different video samples and different platform. The result shows that our protection scheme is compatible with most of the Blu-ray player. The protected BDs can be played in the multi-vendor players and can’t be copied on the computer.
