Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 103 === This study aims to investigate the current status, variation, and correlation of how background variables of Junior High School teachers in Changhua County affect their identification of teaching normalization and attitudes toward teachers’ professional development.
Based on literature review, a questionnaire was designed to survey the teachers of Junior High Schools in Changhua County. Stratified random sampling was used with reference to school size to distribute 552 questionnaires. A total of 502 valid samples were collected, with a valid return rate of 90.9%.
The data were analyzed with frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, ttest, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé Posthoc comparison, and Pearson product-moment correlation. Based on the results, the findings are as follows:
1.Changhua County Junior High School teachers’
Identificationof teaching normalization was largely
consistent with teachers’ attitudes toward teachers’
professional development.
2.Among Changhua County Junior High School teachers in this
study, “less senior” “male” teachers who worked for
a “large-scale” school and “specialized in”
teaching “arts and crafts subjects” demonstrated a
higher level of teaching normalization identification.
3.Among Changhua County Junior High School teachers in this
study, “less senior teachers” who “specialized in”
teaching “arts and crafts subjects” demonstrated nicer
attitudes toward teachers’ professional development.
4.There was a highly significant positive correlation
between Changhua County junior high school teachers’
identificationof teaching normalization and attitudes
toward teachers’ professional development.
