The data was collected mainly by in-depth interviews with two participants, supplemented by opinions of significant others and the relevant documents. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. In junior high school, both participants’ academic achievement can’t be improved by the general educational system. Different interpersonal relations resulted in different school adjustments. Transition goals failed to meet both participants’ capabilities and interests. The low academic achievement of both participants impacted school adjustment in the general high school. 2. In senior high school, both participants’ academic level was much lower than their classmates. General and special educational support were invalid. Although they have taken remedies on schoolwork, but they still can’t solve academic problems. Finally, both participants stop learning to escape academic pressure. 3. In deaf school, both participants get rid of the heavy academic pressure. They can really learn in the classroom.
