Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 企業管理學系 國際企業經營管理(IMBA) === 103 === With the new policy of two-day weekend, more and more people value the importance of leisure and family life. Therefore, many traditional factories have restructuring into tourism factories and have become one of the options for family travels. These factories provide people with experience of sensory interaction, culture and knowledge expression and shopping, etc.. Among all these experiences, it is important to investigate which is valued the most for the family travelers and the operators of tourism factory. With limited resources, it is worth further study on the important factors taken into account by the family travelers and operators of tourism factory, the connection between individual factors thus to satisfy family travelers’ needs. This research has categorized five different dimensions of experiential value based on related literatures. The five dimensions are: sensory experiences, feeling experiences, thinking experiences, action experiences and related experiences. In addition, the 23 criteria in decision making in leisure activities - the interaction between parents and children- were also discussed. Finally, Modified Delphi Method was conducted to specify the selection criteria for ‘the experiential value of tourism factories for family travelers. The results of this research could also provide suggestions for tourism factories. After a comprehensive analysis of all samples and sample groups, it is found that action experience is the most important factor in terms of decision making. Therefore, the operators of tourism factory need to understand the factors affect family traveler’s decision making then to commit resources based on these critical decision factors. This will reinforce the industry’s strengths and improve the quality of the services, which thereby create and enhance business performance.
