Excerpts the changing of the legend and based on many different kinds of documents. Analysed his background and generalize the similar types of tales.   This study decided into six chapters.   Preface, first of all, narrated the intention and purpose of this study. Secondly, discussed the study that people had made. Final, find out the shortcomings of the legend and the prospects for the future by explaining the methods I have applied.   In chapter two "Nan- Chiu, Huang's life story and achievements". Not only introduced Huang's development in business, also his images and the judgement in historical records.   Chapter three, "The legend history background and characters". There are 19 related stories about Huang. One is 8 stories about Huang's cultivations, and the other is 11 tales regarding to his family. Both of them narrated the background and the confirmation of the legend. It also categorized by the characteristics of the characters. Then compared the image with the story's comments.   Chapter four, "The relations of Huang's idioms,novels and novel quotes". Talking about Huang's influences to the locals, proverbs, novels; including "A-shih hsia fan" and the legend which was similar in other countries. There are little differences in plots, sceneries and the image. Novels are shifted in language, names and positions of characters. Considered novels are different versions of the record in history.   Chapter five, "comparison Huang's with local stories". The comparison with China and Western made Huang's legend could be misunderstood and dissemble throughout the wars between Huang and aboriginals. It found that there's similar figures overseas as well. The stories created the significances and commons with Chinese, westerners and Taiwanese.   Chapter six,"Conclusion". To sum up the consequences in images of the characters of Huang, content of legend story types and distinguished features of legend. To indicate the lack of this study as a reference in the future.
