Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 103 === Abstract Purpose: Analyzed the stress responses of heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP) and cortisol differences between 24 and 48 hours resting duration after high intensity aerobic exercise (HIAE). Methods: 10 healthy young male college students were recruited. All subjects completed the 24 and 48 hours mode in counter-balance order. 24 hours mode was conducted by 3 times HIAE and separated by 24 hours of each time. 48 hours mode was separated by 48 hours of each time. HIAE were conducted by 80% heart rate reserve of treadmill running for 20 minutes. HR, BP and cortisol responses were recorded during the 30 minutes recovery phase after each HIAE and calculated the values of change (△). Repeated measures two-way ANOVA were used to compare the differences between 2 modes and between 3 HIAE. Results: The baseline of HR, BP and cortisol were not significantly different between 2 modes and between 3 times HIAE (p>.05). The △SBP, △DBP and △cortisol were also not significantly different between 2 mode and 3 times HIAE (p>.05). Conclusion: The results reveal that the resting duration do not affect the stress responses after HIAE. Therefore, three times a week is considered a feasible way when executing HIAE. Future researches need to clarify the threshold and the progress of stress responses during HIAE intervention.
