In this study, 1960 as the beginning of the Catholic missionary to Alishan, cut from church buildings and other aspects of art and culture, to discuss the Alishan Tsou tribe blend of Catholicism and native culture, the main purpose is to understand the Catholic Church in the Alishan Tsou tribe building cultural development and status of localization. Research focused on Catholic missionary history and development of the Tsou tribe, the Catholic church architecture and decorative arts Localization of analysis, integration of Catholic ritual and traditional Tsou culture and interactive scenarios, the contribution of the Church and the difficulties faced in four areas . The study found that: First, the Tsou tribe after Catholicism not only did not damage the local traditional culture, but provides a traditional culture can continue booster; second, tribal church combines three cultural aspects, not only makes the body more integrated into the local architecture also makes Tsou by shaping the church style, showing the uniqueness of their culture; third, Tsou adopt a compromise approach to the Catholic Mass and praying the way into the traditional ceremony, but in polytheism, monotheism and wizards positioning and Catholicism remains to adjust. Overall, the localization of the Catholic Church in the Tsou tribe still be style, look forward to the church and the Tsou tribe together to work together to continue to contribute to the effort to localize the church.
