Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 化學工程與材料工程學系碩士班 === 103 === In this thesis, the stabilization of aqueous polyurethane dispersions(PUD) was investigated. The stabilizers were incorporated into PUD by either direct mixing waterborne antioxidant and PUD or addition of stabilizers during synthesis (internal addition). A PUD derived from Isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI), polycarbonatediols (PCDL) was prepared. Various amounts of a waterborne antioxidant were mixed with the PUD and casted film sample were prepared. The thermal stability of PU film was investigated by TGA and UV-visible spectra after annealing. It was found that the antioxidant only enhanced the thermal stability slightly. A UV stabilizer (Eversonb-109) was incorporated into PUD by internal addition. The addition amounts were from 0.1 to 10 phr, The UV visible spectra of the cast film and annealed film were determined. The presence of Eversonb-109 only slightly affect the visible region, but the transmittance of UV region was greatly depressed. It can be seen that about 2 phr was enough to absorb the UV light. A BHT stabilizer was also incorporated into PUD by internal addition. The thermal stability of film was investigated by TGA and UV visible spectra of annealed films. It can be seen that the thermal stability was significantly improved by BHT through internal addition. The effect was significantly better than external addition. The better addition amount of BHT was 0.5 phr.
