First of all, the mathematical expressions for optimal parameters of displacement absorbers, velocity absorbers and acceleration absorbers will be dreived. Then, based the the above-mentioned expressions and MATLAB, the influence of mass ratio, frequency ratio and damping ratio on the vibration reduction efficiency of displacement absorbers, velocity absorbers and acceleration absorbers will be investigated herein. From the numerical results presented in this research, it is found that the presented mathematical expressions for optimal parameters of various absorbers is useful for reducing the vibrations of single-degree-of-freedom spring-mass main system.
