Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 航運管理研究所 === 103 === This study aims to assess the impact of adopting mobile instant massaging (IM) on job performance for oncean freight forwarders. Four crucial factors influencing the adoption of mobile instant massaging (IM) were identified based on the literature reviews, namely, Attitude, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Anxiety. A Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was subsequently performed to examine the crucial factors influencing the adoption of mobile instant massaging and assess the impact of adopting mobile instant massaging on job performance for ocean freight forwarders.
The results of SEM analysis indicated that attitude and subjective norm have a positive effect on the intention of using mobile IM whereas the intention of using mobile IM also has a positive effect on job performance. Moreover, the anxiety of using mobile IM was found to have a negative effect on job performance. However, the effects of perceived behavioral control and anxiety on the intention of using mobile IM were not found in this study.
