To do this I will consider differences between Lukang Longshan Temple and Tokyo Senso-ji Temple. Chapter one willI look at the basics of the Kannon faith in India and China, then contrast it with the faith in Japan and Taiwan. A comparison of how the faith differs from the main source in China and India and the islands of Japan and Taiwan, this will be taken from a consideration of the historic/social and culture perspective of the main source and look at the changes which have occurred with the passage of time A more in depth look at the Taiwan faith in Chapter 2, and the impact and interchange of the folk lore and belief as it, develops into modern times. The Kannon faith of Taiwan exists like a mother for the people of Taiwan epitomized by Kaijin and the characteristic called the local guardian deity and the guardian deity of woman and child. I consider Kannon faith of Japan in Chapter 3. Shinto and Cultural Exchange the Kannon faith of Japan by the Japanese history, Shinto culture, interchange of the mixture of Buddhism and Shintoism, thus it becomes God and Buddha of the special Kannon faith. The Kannon faith produces the characteristics of an earth mother and the guardian deity of the country and the local guardian deity. Finally I arrange a comparison of the faith’s characteristic in Japan and Taiwan. I’m considered of the difference of both Kannon faiths, Kaijin and the local guardian deity and the guardian deity of woman and child of Taiwan, and an earth mother and the guardian deity of the country and the local guardian deity for Japanese Kannon worship. Both are common in the characteristic the local guardian deity, but differer at other points. The causes that the difference was brought about include shared territorial bonding relations, religious faith, the humanities society. Key word : Kannon faith, Lukang Longshan Temple, Senso-ji Temple, cultural exchange, religious integration Tatsuya Akae 赤江達也 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 106 |

Chapter one willI look at the basics of the Kannon faith in India and China, then contrast it with the faith in Japan and Taiwan. A comparison of how the faith differs from the main source in China and India and the islands of Japan and Taiwan, this will be taken from a consideration of the historic/social and culture perspective of the main source and look at the changes which have occurred with the passage of time
A more in depth look at the Taiwan faith in Chapter 2, and the impact and interchange of the folk lore and belief as it, develops into modern times.
