Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理系企業管理碩士班 === 103 === This study was to investigate the delivery time preferences of consumers in different factors, and discuss the necessity of reducing delivery time. In this research, we design the online shopping websites to simulate the situation which consumers shopping on the Internet, discussing the delivery time preferences of consumers in different factors through two experiments. Study 1 which used a two-factors 2 (product type: utilitarian product, hedonic product) by 2 (purchase situation: gift situation, self-use situation) design, investigating the delivery time preferences effects of different product types and purchase situations. Study 2 which used a three-factors 2 (product type: utilitarian product, hedonic product) by 2 (purchase situation: gift situation, self-use situation) by 2 (product discount: provide product discount, no product discount) design, investigating the delivery time preferences effects of two product types and provide product discount or not in different purchase situations. The results of study 1 shows that the delivery time preferences of hedonic products are longer than utilitarian products. In gift situation, the gaps from different product types will shorter than self-use situation. And the results of study 2 shows that consumers will be effected by providing product discounts, shorting the gaps from different product types.
