The data were collected through teaching recordings, worksheets, interviews, learning feedbacks, questionnaires, teachers’ daily reflection journals and the observations, etc. The conclusions of the research are as following: 1. Applying suitable green picture books to giving environmental education revealed that it is a feasible and effective teaching method. 2. Multiple curriculum designs enhance the students' interest in learning and improve the teaching effectiveness. 3. Integrating green picture books into environmental education courses promotes the growth of five objectives of environmental education for students. 4. Students and parents take a positive attitude to the environmental education curriculum with a great affection. 5. The problems and coping strategies involved in the process of teaching in this research. (1)The contents of course should be student-centered and fit the students' cognitive level, allowing the flexible teaching time frame and adjusting the course arrangements in accordance with the participants' progress. (2)The proper use of instructional media can improve the quality of teaching. (3)Teaching objectives should be established clearly in the experience activities and outdoor teaching, and maintaining the order of control to avoid a frolic should be considered. 6. Teachers can enhance the professional growth in their teaching skill through the course of implementing green picture books into environmental education.
