碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 社會發展學系碩士班 === 103 === The purpose of this study was to understand the status of students’ political knowledge and political attitude in Pingtung senior high schools, compare the differences of students’ political knowledge and political attitude with different background variables, and explore the related situations as well as students’ political knowledge and political attitude. The research took students in the senior high schools of Pingtung County in 2014 as subjects. The research used self-made “questionnaires of students’ political knowledge and political attitude” as research tool to take samples from 11 schools by stratified proportional sampling. There were 479 effective questionnaires returned. Finally, all the received data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis etc.. The conclusions were as follows: 1. The status of students’ political knowledge in senior high schools were all above average. Among the four dimensions of political knowledge, “the concept of democracy nation” was predominated. The followings were “the international relations”, “citizen participation”, and “the system of government operations”. 2. The status of political attitude for senior high schools students were all above the average. Among the four dimensions, the “the national identity” was predominated; the followings were “political efficacy”, “the civic responsibility” and “the political trust”. 3.“Male”,“third grade”, ”Pingtung urban” and ”medium high socio-economic status of the family” senior high schools students in Pingtung County are better than the others in political knowledge. 4. Political attitudes of “first grade” senior high schools students in Pingtung County are better than the others. 5. There is no relationship between the degree of political knowledge and the degree of political attitudes in senior high schools students of Pingtung County. 6. Political knowledge doesn’t effect political attitudes in senior high schools students of Pingtung County. 7. The senior high schools students in Pingtung County, the main sources of political knowledge come from TV news . 8. The Reasons influence political attitudes of the senior high school students in Pingtung County come from the social events. Finally, according to the above conclusions, the researcher provided some specific suggestions to the school teaching departments, government authorities, senior high schools students, and future researchers for references.
