Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 英語學系碩士班 === 103 === This research topic starts with me as an elementary English teacher who has encounters with Principal Amy and Teacher Chin-Chin through the process of doing narrative inquiry into the teaching profession, a passage of life’s story thus stemming the flow of light out.
The qualitative study is used as the research method, trying to do with the technique of narrative inquiries. Through doing the interviews with Principal Amy, and to explore a senior advanced education policy maker with Teacher Chin-Chin, then to explore two passionate, responsible educational senior, for allowing the experiences are in heritage. In the stories, we are to be perceived, reflected, grown, and enjoyed. Except for changing ourselves, we are also expected to help others. To believe in the power of telling stories: to tell our own stories, to tell Principal Amy’s (an admirable policy-maker), and Teacher Chin-Chin’s stories (an English teacher who is worthy to be learned.)
About the research’s findings: in the interactions of narrative inquiries, it is to be contained of being a teacher who should have their professional spirits, to be advanced of being as an elementary English teacher who should be equipped with the professional abilities, which is included of the presence of love and caring, to display the genuine sincerity, good will, and beauty, as to forever.
