| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 中國語文學系碩士班 === 103 === Xiaoyun Jiang became a dazzling star in the literary world during the 1980s. However, she moved to the United States. She hadn’t written for thirty years until she retired from her working post. Her novel creating world was changed by her circumstances. In the eighties, Xiaoyun Jiang lived in Taiwan, so she stressed on the loving stories about Taipei’s young men and women in her novels. After moving to America, she expanded her novel created areas into Taiwan, America, China, and so on. Moreover, Xiaoyun Jiang described the differences between the two sexes, the separating and wandering families as a creating feature of her resumed writing novels. This thesis aims to inquire further into the crises, conflicts and correspondence methods between the two sexes from her novels on the basis of Feminism, various psychologies, and Diaspora theory. Finally, by studying the separated families wandering other countries to work hard and search for identity I hope to realize deeply the Gender and Diaspora of her novel.
