Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 中國語文學系碩士班 === 103 === In this study, contact poem composed by Zhang, Jiu-Ling was served as the theme, where we narrated his life and background first, then we discussed aspects including but not limited to the object, subject matter and artistic form in the poem to display the characteristics of his poem titled “Relationship”. In Chapter First, <Introduction>, we elaborated research motive and purpose first, then we reviewed previous literature, and finally we explained the scope and method of research, with which we aimed at constructing the basis of discussion. In Chapter Two, <Zhang Jiu-Ling's life and background>, we integrated historical materials and previous findings of studies first, where we discussed two eras that Zhang Jiu-Ling during period before eunuch and period with eunuch; then, we discussed the background where Zhang Jiu-Ling lived from the political, social, literary views. In Chapter Three, <Contact poem of Zhang Jiu-Ling and poets he was familiar>, we established the definition of contact poem first, then we explained the reason why he composed the poem. Finally, we had separate discussion on five parts including but not limited to emperor, the elders and chief, peers and colleagues, juniors and subordinates, as well as relatives in accordance with his identity as a poet with relationship, so as to enhance people’s familiarity of impersonal relationship with Zhang Jiu-Ling. In Chapter Four, <Subject Matter of Zhang Jiu-Ling’s contact poem>, we explained the classification criteria of the poem first, then we divided the subject matter into conversation poems, regulatory poems, travel poems, mournful poems, farewell poems and chanting poems, further explaining its definition and the contents to understand the purpose of composition and the emotional exchange between Zhang Jiu-Ling and poets whom he built relationship. In Chapter Five, <The artistic form of Zhang Jiu-Ling’s contact poem>, there are techniques including but not limited to rhetorical code, class stack, question inquiry and against the background. The rhyme is mostly from beginning to the end, where flat & wide rhyme constitutes the major part and few changeable rhyme and universal rhyme. The genre focused on five-character poem and ancient poetry and recent poetry are mixed even, which was mainly resulted from literary culture at that time. In Chapter Six, <Conclusion>, we summarized the findings in the contact poem composed by Zhang Jiu-Ling, where we sorted out four features including but not limited to plural theme, transitional features displayed in the style, plus delicate writing style with sincere affection, and progressive involvement in the world of Confucianism.
