Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 資訊管理學系研究所 === 103 === The purpose of this study is to find out the best UI design pattern of responsive website display for tablets and smartphones. This study was conducted in two stages. The user experience questionnaire was used in the first stage to understand the relationship between UI design and user experience, and to find out which design pattern has the best user experience. The second stage was based on the result of the first stage. In this stage, The best and the worst design patterns were observed and verified by eye-tracking instrument. The browsing purpose was added at this stage to investigate the impact of eye movement on different browsing purposes. The results show that the grid UI design pattern has the best user experience on either tablets or smartphones under the condition of surfing. In addition, these two types of browsing purposes also displayed differences in the visual movement. Most users follow the ”Z” movement pattern when they browse this website leisurely, but follow the “reverse N” movement pattern when they have specific goals.
