The questionnaire included: "the demographic data ", "body image scale of breast cancer", " health needs satisfaction of breast reconstruction." ANOVA by using SPSS statistical software was applied to analyze the differences of the four different time points of body image and satisfaction of health needs. The results were as follows: 1. Body image: (1) There were significantly different on body image score (F = 108.416, P <0.000) at four different time points. D1 was the most negative body image. (2) The score of body image showed significantly different between D3 and D0 ; D3 and D1 (P <0.05). In other word, the first month after discharge (D3) is the key time point for women felt positive body image. (3) These factors showed significant differences body image score at four time points were as follows: Education level, occupation, income, and occupation change due to disease and cancer stage. (P <0.05) 2. The satisfaction of health needs (1) There were significantly different physiological satisfaction health needs at four different time points (F = 1428.5, P <0.000). D3 was the most satisfaction health needs and D2 was the most dissatisfied with health needs. The score of the satisfaction of health needs at D0showed significantly different from D2 and D3 (P <0.05) (2) There were significantly different psychosocial satisfaction health needs at four different time points (F = 1334, P <0.000). D3 was the most satisfaction and D0 was the most dissatisfied. The score of the satisfaction of psychosocial health needs at D0showed significantly different from D1, D2 and D3 (P <0.05) (3) Cancer stage showed significant differences of physiologic health needs at four different time points (P <0.05). (3) There were significantly different information satisfaction health needs at four different time points (F = 165128.9, P <0.000). D1 was the most satisfaction and D0 was the most dissatisfied. The score of information satisfaction health needs at D0showed significantly different from D1 and D2 (P <0.05) (4) Cancer stage showed significant differences of physiologic health needs at four different time points (P <0.05). The findings suggested that health providers should be more active to guide women with breast cancer undergoing breast reconstruction to express their feelings about the changes of body image, to provide appropriate health care at different time points from preoperative period to early stage of returning home from hospital. In addition, following up women's self-care at early stage of returning home is the important care issue.
