碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 休閒運動管理研究所 === 103 === The purpose of this study was to explore the leisure motivation and constraints of campers and compare differences among them. Questionnaires were used to investigate participants above 20 years old. There were 248 valid copies collected out of 250. The valid rate is 99.2%. Descriptive statistics analysis, factor analysis, paired-samplet-test, one way-ANOVA, Scheffe and Pearson correlation coefficient were applied to analyze collected data. The results were as follows. 1. Campers go camping because they want to be close to nature. However, the management of camping sites gets in their way. 2. Their participating experience and camping frequencies vary at the management constraints among the camping participants with different population background. Significant difference exists at the camping constraints of social environment among the campers in different camping frequencies 3. There is clear positive correlation between the social motivation and family constraints.There is clear positive correction between the motivation of being close to nature and social environment constraints. At last, based on the result of this research, some suggestions are as follows for the reference of the camping site providers: to satisfy the latest casual-style camping in planning the camping site, to add rain-free zones, to offer rental camping equipment, and to avoid from being too expensive.
