Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 103 === Vehicles will not randomly move without purpose, Vehicular ad-hoc network (Vanet) is comprised of these vehicles and road-side units (RSU). The purpose of Vanet is to promote driving safety and avoid accidents. While studying Vanet, a new routing protocol or a guidance system is not allowed to use before testing and verifying. Thus, when studying Vanet, a critical aspect is the need for a mobility model which reflects, as close as possible, the real behavior of vehicular traffic. Researchers of Vanet generally design routing scheme for urban or suburban networks. However, ns-3 do not support urban or suburban Vanet environment networks. As a result, we want to create Vanet environment networks in ns-3, which can greatly reflect the real behavior of vehicles. Our VanetURSim primary target is to simulate real behavior of vehicular traffic. For example, obeying traffic rules, red light stop, green light move and vehicles will move along planning trajectories. VanetURSim support vehicle moving module and urban road networks with traffic lights. In addition, we proposed a traffic scheduling method between RSUs and vehicles. To saving transmission energy, we choose the most appropriate vehicle to assist forwarding through probabilistic calculating.
